LISTEN TO ME, MARLON (Stevan Riley)
An amazing documentary on Marlon Brando using the hundreds of hours of private audio recordings that he made late in life. The tape recordings become the narration for a film that he never knew (or probably ever intended) to make. Remarkably candid (more than his autobiography), an absolute must for any aspiring actor. Covering most of his career, the film puts a lie to the myth that he didn’t take acting seriously. Designed for self-therapy, the tapes and this film can be seen as his last gift.
